This is what Moses told the Israelites when they were ready to turn and run back to servitude. They knew they had no chance up against the Egyptians who were pursuing them. But Moses knew God would protect them, and he charged the Israelites to stand firm. God delivered them by letting them cross the sea on dry ground. God is still at work, metaphorically parting seas and delivering us. (See Exodus 14 for the whole story)
