Turning scripture into hand lettered works of art that encourage, comfort, and bring joy.
Krystal Whitten Studio was born out of Krystal's desire to share God's Word in a beautiful way. In 2015 she officially opened her online "doors" to the world and began sharing her hand lettered art prints.
"Paper your walls with God's Word" is her favorite catch phrase to encourage people to put Scripture in their homes and surround themselves with it like the Israelites were commanded to in Exodus 11.
After initially offering art prints, Krystal created The Lettering Prayer Journal®, a year-long guided prayer journal that prompts you to pray specifically and connect with God's Word in a creative way - through hand lettering. To date, The Lettering Prayer Journal® continues to be her best-selling product.
As the years passed, Krystal continued to expand her line to include greeting cards, scripture memory cards, devotionals, and more.
In July 2025 Krystal closed out 90% of her product line to focus on the Scripted Faith Collective and offering digital resources for lettering.
2014 - Krystal began learning hand lettering
2015 - Krystal offered her first art prints on Facebook for purchase
2015 - The Lettering Prayer Journal® was first created in November
2016 - Krystal taught her first workshop to a group of about 100 ladies at her church.
2017 - Krystal Whitten Studio debuted to the wholesale market with a total of 4 wholesale accounts
2018 - Exhibited for the first time at the International Home and Gift Market in Atlanta, GA
2018 - Krystal's book was published - Faith and Lettering: An Inspirational Guide to Creative Lettering and Journaling
2018 - Elizabeth Holder joined the team as Krystal's assistant and shipping manager.
2019 - Krystal Whitten Studio debuted at the National Stationery Show in NYC
2019 - Krystal was named a "Designer to Watch in 2020" by Stationery Trends Magazine.
2020 - The Lettering Prayer Journal® was licensed by Dayspring®
2024 - Krystal releases her first course "Faith and Lettering", a beginner hand lettering course
2025 - Krystal launches the Scripted Faith Collective hand lettered template library
